Position Title: Accounting Clerk
Wage: $20/hour DOE
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7am-5pm
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity to get your foot into the door of a large, growing manufacturing company. This is an associate to hire Accounting Clerk Role.
- Reconciling, coding, and vouching accounts payable; process payables checks
- Process and manage accounts receivable, including placing billing and collection calls; prepare aging report
- Maintain cash receipts journal, cash activity sheet, and bank deposits
- Reconcile credit card statements and receipts
- Update and maintain vendor and customer accounts database
- Audit and verify expense reports
- Prepare bank deposits and process credit card transactions
- Process customer invoices and credit memos for sales activity
- Produce shipping documents for international sales orders
- Process and close shop orders in correspondence to sales orders
- Track, create, and report daily/weekly/monthly sales
- Handle incoming customer correspondence, including mail, faxes, and emails
- Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable with analytical ability
- Proficiency in MS Office and keyboarding
- Prior customer service and clerical experience
- Ability to process data accurately and efficiently
- Ability to follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner
