ABOUT US: In business since 1984. Pizza Equipment Professionals (PEP) is an Italian Importer and USA Distributor specializing in High Efficiency Electric Pizza Equipment and Parts. PEP purchases equipment and parts inventory from Italy and secondary parts and supplies from US vendors. PEP’s Sales Department works directly with US Brokers, Distributors and End Users. PEP’s In-Houe Service Department handles Part Sales, Shipping and Technical Support. Overseeing Operations, Bookkeeping, Marketing, and HR is the responsibility of PEP’s Operations Manager. Business has increased termendously requiring PEP to create a new position titled Accounting Clerk to assist Operations with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Data Entry.

Our company is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Clerk to join our team. A successful candidate will have prior experience working in an accounting office and possess a passion for financial accuracy and problem solving. The Accounting Clerk plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations by processing time sensitive information with accuracy.

  • Thorough knowledge of A/P, A/R, and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Filing financial data in Teams, QuickBooks Enterprise to process data, and Outlook to manage accounting email.

  • Enters Payables and prepares weekly report for payment processing.
  • Enters Accounts Receivable and prepares Statements when necessary.
  • Process new hire paperwork, audit Time Clock when necessary for Bi-Weekly Payroll.
  • Month End Preparation.
  • Assist Manager and Accountant with all related accounting matters.
  • Conducts general administrative duties.
  • Handles sensitive information appropriately and confidentially.

IN CLOSING

This is a unique opportunity to learn and become knowledgeable about processing foreign currency. As an Accounting Clerk this position supports the team by identifying inaccuracies and creating financial transparency. This position requires an individual who works well with a team and can work independently and efficiently. We will provide hands-on training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
