Nick Mayer Chevrolet, Buick, GMC in Dickson, TN has an immediate opening for a qualified Accounting Assistant. The role of the accounting assistant involves providing financial, administrative, and clerical support. Automotive dealership experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate that possesses a strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable, including simple bookkeeping and banking tasks.
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
- Prepare general ledger postings and statements.
- Interface with customer software systems.
- Process dealer trade paperwork.
- Complete invoicing and floorplan for new vehicles.
- Handling of factory incentives.
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
- Process new car deals.
- Track extended warranty payments and cancellations.
- Document filings and research.
- Maintain/run accounting reports.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Accounting experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Work independently and in a team environment.
- Reliable and self-motivated.
- Willing to comply with our pre-employment drug screening requirements.
