What Will You Do?

The Role:

• Post receipts and preparing checks for deposit
• Post and print AP Checks
• Scan supporting documents and post vendor invoices into accounting software
• Reconcile Bank accounts
• Reconcile Store deposits to the agency management system
• Process payments to Insurance Carriers for policy insurance premiums
• Sort and distribute all incoming mail
• Perform routine accounting and data entry functions for the business as assigned
• Assist in month end closing duties as assigned
• A working knowledge of basic office practices and accounting practices.
• Ability to perform all accounting transactions (Posting of AP, AR, etc.) in a timely manner.
• An understanding of the need for and a commitment to maintaining confidential accounting information.Our Company!

• Accounting 1 year / Associates Degree
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Ability to meet weekly deadlines
• Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with others.
• Insurance Accounting Experience preferred
• Proficient in Excel
• Working knowledge of AMS360, Appone, and Acumatica

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $50,000.00 per year
