We are in need of an Accounting Assistant with a minimum of two years' experience in general ledger accounting to join our team. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for performing a wide range of accounting duties necessary to prepare financial statements and balance sheets and help maintain workable internal controls. The successful candidate for this position will have experience in performing analysis, reconciling accounts and maintaining general ledgers.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine office tasks within the accounting department, including but not limited to filing, faxing, photocopying, and entering data into the computer.
  • Maintain an appropriate professional relationship with managers and co-workers.
  • Coordinate with other departments.
  • Communicate with financial officers to expedite requests for information.
  • Process invoices and credit cards.
  • Process petty cash withdrawals.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers, team members, and supervisors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
