RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Reconciling monthly reports and preparation of monthly Financial Statements. · Enter journal entries and allocate expenses as needed.
- Auditing trust and activity accounts for accuracy.
- Reconciling general bank accounts for Medicalodges facilities.
- Review cash receipts and verify accuracy of cash receipt adjustments.
- Reconciling and closing Accounts Receivables each month.
· Analyzing expense accounts and reclassifying to correct cost center when necessary. · Working closely with facility bookkeepers, accounting staff, and Administrators to assist with problems concerning receivable and accounting.
- Annually prepare Medicaid and Medicare cost reports.
- Researching problem accounts to find a solution and correct the account.
- Assist auditors with reports and information for the year- end audit.
- Assisting other account analysts in completion of their assigned work when requested.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
- Two years work experience in accounting or related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
- Aptitude for mathematics
- Efficient communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
