AMC is hiring a full time Accountant to join our accounting team. We are looking for a capable and knowledgeable self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment and has accounting experience. The ideal candidate will work well with others, have attention to detail, and be willing to constantly learn.

Position Summary: This position is responsible for the daily management of financial data, reconciling bank statements and invoices, preparing data for processing and coding data appropriately to specific departments. The primary focus is to augment AMC's accounting team to ensure timely processing of financial data as

AMC continues to grow. This position will work directly with accounting staff, department leaders, and senior company executives to ensure the timely and accurate capture of financial data points.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare various data elements for third party accounting firm processing
  • Properly code data as necessary for processing and financial reporting
  • Bank and invoice reconciliation
  • Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders
  • Submitting payment for accounts payable
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations
  • Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Audit financial transactions and documents

Candidate requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting strongly preferred
  • Extensive computer knowledge
  • Prior accounting experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)

Work Location: Remote
