Account Manager: West Region
Where will you work: Virtual/remote within the West.
The Mosaic Company is looking for our next Account Manager for the IA/NE region. We are looking for an Account Manager skillful at building relationships who enjoys collaboration within a high-performance sales team. You will thrive in this role if you are fueled by working in a fast-paced environment, with experience handling large books of business within the agriculture, fertilizer and/or mining industry.
What will you do?
  • Develop and implement Account Management plans for Strategic Accounts
  • Formulate, execute and report sales budgets and forecasts
  • Develop, execute and report on the sales plan and position risk with commercial leadership
  • Develop by segment the customer communication and satisfaction programs
  • Customer interface and Sales revenue responsibility
What do you need for this role?
  • Bachelor's degree required, Agriculture, Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field
  • A minimum of 8 years experience in of B2B sales and/or account management
  • Extensive experience in Marketing, Sales and Account Management
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills
  • Experience with value-based selling, business development and skilled negotiation
  • Proven strategic sales planning capabilities and execution of commercial go to market
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate persuasively with customers and manage contract negotiations
  • Ability to effectively work and build relationships with customers and employees at all levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Teams
  • Ability to travel at least 40% of the time
Bonus Points if You Have the Following:
  • Deep knowledge in production agriculture, commodity markets and experience with sales and support.
  • Familiarity with salesforce.com, IBP forecasting tool or other CRM and digital marketing and analytics
