Production Account Manager

At Japs-Olson, our Production Account Managers are responsible for overseeing the complete cycle of direct mail campaigns. You will be the main point of contact between the customer and the production team by managing every stage of the project such as initial project review, direction for workflows, quality inspections, and final ship/mail dates. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be part of an exciting and dynamic production support team.

Key Tasks:

• Build and maintain customer relationships through excellent service
• Create job tickets for projects
• Provide estimates for printing and direct mail packages
• Schedule projects and campaigns
• Work with purchasing for needed supplies and raw materials
• Obtain proofs for customer approvals
• Process alterations per customer specifications
• Communicate changes to production
• Conduct press color checks
• Schedule any third-party vendor services
• Communicate with department managers to schedule and track projects through the production process
• Monitor project completion and ship dates

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Account Manager or Coordinator in a web and/or sheetfed printing company
• 2 years of experience in direct mail and/or a 4-year degree in print management from an accredited college
• Knowledge of US Postal regulations
• Previous variable data experience preferred
• Must be able to appropriately communicate and interact with customers and production managers on a day-to-day basis
• Good judgment, an eye for quality, and knowledge of printing are necessary
• Must be able to read and interpret customer specifications

  Stay-On Bonus amount is based on experience. Paid out in three installments at 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months of employment at Japs-Olson.
