Acton Elementary School seeks a highly energetic and positive educator to join our awesome middle school team. Acton is a growing rural Maine town in the foothills of the White Mountains. The Acton School Department is experiencing an increase in student population due to the town’s location, excellent school, lakes, natural beauty, and easy commute to Portland, Portsmouth, and Boston.
We are currently seeking applications for the following positions for the 2023-2024 school year:
Grades 7&8 Math Teacher
Grades 7&8 math is an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate. AES has witnessed an increase in students’ math skills and we are in need of the right person to continue this great work!
This is an excellent opportunity to join an educationally progressive and culturally optimistic small school in Maine. Although this position begins in late August we want to hire as soon as possible to ensure we get the best applicant for this terrific teaching opportunity. Salary and benefits are available per current collective bargaining agreement are very competitive in the Southern Maine market.
