Duties to include but not limited to:

Performing a variety of assembly operations and processes to make completed parts using hand tools, jigs, fixtures, & light power tools. You will visually inspect parts to standards, repair units and products that fail to meet requirements. As necessary, resolves mechanical or hydraulic problems. Must be able to read micrometers.

Steel toe work boots/shoes are required

*Must be experienced in setting up the machine as well as running the machine*

The ideal candidate will be experienced in the automotive assembly field, carry little to no gaps in their work history, someone looking for longevity with a great company and lastly, someone looking for good medical, dental and vision benefits and 401K & pension

Location: Sterling, IL

Shift: 8PM-6AM * MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT

Pay: $17.50

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with quality assurance and light computer skills desired.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively and stand for approximately 90% of time.
• Able to read a tape measure and micrometer.
• Able to read and understand process work instructions.
• Ability and willingness to make suggestions to supervisor as to changes or improvements to be made in product or work area.
• Above average attendance record.
• Must be able to work overtime, off-shifts, weekends, holidays and shutdowns when necessary.
• Good attitude with co-workers and toward job responsibilities.
