The Out-of-Door Academy is a coeducational, college preparatory, independent day school serving over 800 students from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade in Sarasota, Florida. Founded in 1924, The Out-of-Door Academy is one of the oldest independent schools in Florida and a founding member of the Florida Council of Independent Schools. The school’s mission is to provide an environment in which students strive to achieve high academic goals and to build character through a balanced program of academics, the arts and athletics. The Out-of-Door Academy currently has openings for part-time day and evening School Bus Monitors. We also offer the opportunity to earn a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week.

As an Out-of-Door Academy Bus Monitor, your major responsibilities will be to:
- Provide oversight of passengers before and during transport.
- Perform and document daily rider temperature and symptom screenings.
- Assist students in the loading and unloading process.
- Good verbal communication skills
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and physical.
