POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the physical application of processing components to products such as books, CDs and DVDs in a quality oriented manner in order to prepare product for library shelving and distribution.

Application of components such as labels, ink stamping, and protective jackets over hard cover books per library specifications to prepare product for library shelving and distribution.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, and lift/move up to 10 pounds. The employee must frequently reach with hands and arms and occasionally walk. Specific vision requirements include close vision in order to view PC screen.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

  • 0-3 years of warehouse experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Ability to stand during shift with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to pick up books weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to pick up totes up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to pick up totes 50-100 pounds with assistance
  • Hand and eye coordination
  • Attention to detail
